Bird Breeder Goes Bird Rescuer part one - New Wings Bird Rescue & Sanctuary

Deb Thrift was a breeder of small birds breeding out of love for color variety. Her flock had increased to over 600 birds when one day she took in a bird that had been badly abused and started to be concerned about how the birds she was selling were being treated. She was so disturbed by the abused Macaw named Sky that she transitioned her entire breeding operation to a bird rescue and sanctuary.
